Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on TV. The role she played earned her an Emmy nomination in the Most Outstanding Supporting Actress category and she also received two SAG Awards, both for exceptional performances in an ensemble comedy.
Jenna was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but her family was primarily from St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne often performed in church dramas in her younger years which sparked an enthusiasm for theatre.
She is a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's latest production Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer's friend from real life as well as a castmate, started Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The podcast was wildly successful, ranking in the Top Ten of the world every week. It had more than 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends there. The memoir deals with their friendship and the work they did in the production of The Office.
