April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4, 1995) started her musical journey at the age of 7 in which she began guitar and piano classes. April Lockhart penned her first track"Different" when she was twelve years old. In her 14th year April spent a lot of her time to creating and playing with songs. After that, she started taking trips to write with her father in NY in New York and LA. April also began to include other related topics for some of her friends dealing in the area of bullying by peers and teens who commit suicide through the songs Take my Hand. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and works for popular brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. The truth is that she was born without a left hand. This is what makes her different. It's not the only thing about her. So, Lockhart's Instagram page does not shy away from her disability, but it's not focused on the issue as well. What's the message? The message is that we are more than our physical selves. Our identities are multifaceted and we contain many different dimensions. I don't want that to determine me. I do not want to be a disability influencer where that's all I discuss because there are many different elements to my life. Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. My everyday life isn't dependent on it. I go about my regular day-to-day life and discover my own solutions to problems. It's also part of me, so I believe that it's crucial to speak about. Lockhart, a real source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting, is on a long journey to achieve the goal. She admits that she's been through phases of her body, at times, not being confident in wearing specific types of clothes showing how much of her body. She can wear whatever she likes, and is proud to share photos of herself wearing these clothes. To her, self-love was always a lengthy trip. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never reach your destination. The people you surround yourself with that truly understand you and see through your eyes are the best people to remind you of what you're worrying about.
